EP Cambridge Equinox

Fleece Comments:  Equinox’s fleece has not been tested before on Australian soil to our knowledge. At age 5 Equinox still exhibits good bundling with an even crimp through out his fleece and he has excellent coverage with good density. There is very little guard hair exhibited in his fleece and he still carries a high Lustre. His extremely low CV indicates the evenness of his fleece through out his body. Equinox was picked for all of the above attributes and the fact that they are still there with such a dramatic change of environment can only speak highly of his capability as a fleece sire.

Progeny:  Equinox’s cria speak for themselves, they all show vast improvements, even with high quality females as dams throwing superior cria’s. The listed show history of the few progeny shown below illustrate what he is doing. With more progeny up and coming he is making his presence felt.

Comments: Equinox is an imported male from Peru, he is a large upstanding male with excellent conformation. His temperament is quiet being very easy to handle, Equinox is a good male to work with in the yards. Equinox is doing very well on Australian soil even in the drought he has been bordering on fat indicating that he has good feed- conversion. At this stage the only way to acquire his genetics is thru Yuralee, females with Equinox in belly or a small amount of his progeny are becoming available for sale at this time.  The quality of his cria have proven that he is a male to use.

Equinox is available to do on-farm matings for $1,100.00  Mobile matings as above plus travelling costs (to be negotiated).  The cost of multiple matings is by negotiation.
